The organisers of EcoShow Live would like to speak to any Ulster based designers interested in creating an EcoBedsit, which will be featured in their tradeshow in the Kings Halls, Belfast from the 8th to the 10th October. The brief is to create a stylish bedsit using recycled, renewed or recyclable materials and furniture. Interested designers should contact gillian.corry@ecoshow.ie as soon as possible.

Project Supervisor Design Process Training
In partnership with Scott MacNeill Architects and SBD Safety By Design, the RIAI are running an intensive two day programme on the Project Supervisor Design Process for professionals in the field of architecture. The programme includes, on successful completion of the two days and an assessment, accreditation by the RIAI as a trained Project Supervisor Design Process. The course is being run on the 16th and 17th of September and costs €1205 for non members, discounted from the normal price of €1600.
Design, Print and Packaging Skillnet have just announced their September / October 2010 training programme, including an MA in Professional Design Practice and a Certificate in Sustainable Design.
Anna Interiors brings New Italian Lighting Range to Ireland
Annan Interiors have just been appointed the Irish agent for the Italian lighting manufacturer Rotaliana, which up to now was unavailable in Ireland. The fixture shown is called 'Honey' and is available in table, floor and suspension. It's lenticular textured honeycomb-like structure diffuses light very softly and because it also captures natural light the surfaces of the lamp appears iridescent when switched off. Comes in up to 9 modules high.
