The organisers of EcoShow Live would like to speak to any Ulster based designers interested in creating an EcoBedsit, which will be featured in their tradeshow in the Kings Halls, Belfast from the 8th to the 10th October. Project Supervisor Design Process Training

In partnership with Scott MacNeill Architects and SBD Safety By Design, the RIAI are running an intensive two day programme on the Project Supervisor Design Process for professionals in the field of architecture. The programme includes, on successful completion of the two days and an assessment, accreditation by the RIAI as a trained Project Supervisor Design Process. The course is being run on the 16th and 17th of September and costs €1205 for non members, discounted from the normal price of €1600. More Info

Assesment Process for Self-trained Architects

Self-educated architects over 35 years of age wanting to continue to trade under the restricted title of 'architect' are now required to undergo an assessment, costing €6,300, which includes the examination of four projects they have done over a 10-year period. The registration will be processed through the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI).
